Our top priority for welcoming you back to Fariyas Resort Lonavala & Fariyas Hotel Mumbai with your wellbeing in mind.

We are closely monitoring updates from the Central & State Governments & local health departments regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and adhering to guidelines issued by these agencies. Our Trained Hygiene team will be responsible for the hotel adhering to new operational protocols and training.

Specifically, here are some enhanced cleanliness and wellbeing measures that you will see and experience at Fariyas Resort Lonavala & Fariyas Hotel Mumbai.

Cleaning & Sanitization.

We have increased the cleaning and sanitization frequency of high-touch surfaces and high-traffic guests such as elevators and elevator buttons, escalator handrails, and restrooms, which includes the use of hospital-grade disinfectants. We are also implementing enhanced cleaning protocols for guestrooms, including the removal of high-touch items and minimizing the number of times our hotel teams enter guestrooms.

Temperature Checks.

We are conducting regular wellbeing checks and taking additional precautionary measures based on local situations, which include mandatory temperature checks and wellbeing checks of our employees or wellbeing checks of guests during check-in. Hotel employees who report any cold or flu-like symptoms are asked to refrain from coming to work.

Hand Hygiene & Social Distancing.

Good hand hygiene is one of the most important steps we have adopted. Reminders on hand-washing techniques are located throughout the hotel, with hand sanitizer stations are also prominently placed throughout. Social distancing measures are being extended to areas such as elevators and more, while protective shields are being placed at the front desk .

Masks & Gloves.

Masks and other personal protective equipment are available for employees and guests, wherever required, and the policies for utilizing them depend on department responsibilities, tasks, local guidance and requirements. From front desk associates to housekeeping, and kitchen staff are trained on the importance of wearing appropriate protective gear and are taking additional safety precautions for guests and each other.

Room Service.

To promote safety for our guests and colleagues, all room service orders will be delivered to the door, unless otherwise indicated by the hotel. To minimize contact, our service employees will knock on your door or ring your doorbell to notify you upon the delivery of your order.

Food Safety Protocols.

Our teams are implementing precautionary measures starting with food preparation, to set-up and service, and enhancing food safety and hygiene protocols for restaurants, room service. We are frequently disinfecting kitchen surfaces, and Chefs are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment while preparing and plating
made-to-order dishes.
